Effective date: 2026-06-29. This Privacy Policy explains how Kalmantic Inc ("we", "us", "our"), operator of jusAudio (the "Service"), handles your data. It supplements our Terms of Service.
Plain-English summary. We collect what we need to sign you in, take payment, and make and store your songs. We don't sell your data and we don't train our own models on your lyrics. Payment is handled by Paddle. You can delete your songs and your account at any time.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your email and display name, via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google sign-in). We never receive your Google password.
- Content you create — the occasion, details, and lyrics you enter, and the songs and cover art generated for you, stored in your library.
- Billing data — handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. We receive a customer/transaction id, amount, currency, and status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage data — basic logs (generations, errors, device/browser, approximate region) used to run, secure, and improve the Service.
2. How we use your data
- To create your songs and cover art and keep them in your library
- To run the compliance check on lyrics before generation
- To take payment and send receipts (via Paddle)
- To send service emails (sign-in, receipts, account and security notices) and, only if you opt in, occasional product updates
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your lyrics or songs to train our own AI models.
3. Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run jusAudio, including:
- Google Firebase — authentication, hosting, and storage
- Paddle — payment processing and tax remittance (merchant of record)
- AI providers (including Google's generative AI and our song/cover-art generation providers) — receive your prompt and lyrics solely to generate your song; each has its own data policy
- Email provider — to deliver service emails
- Authorities — only where required by valid legal process
4. Sharing your songs
Songs are private to your library by default. If you create a public share link, anyone with that link can view and play the song until you make it private or delete it.
5. International transfers
jusAudio runs on global cloud infrastructure, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for such transfers.
6. Retention
We keep your account and songs until you delete them or close your account, after which we remove or anonymise them within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention (for example, billing records kept for tax purposes). Paddle retains billing records per its own obligations.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from your account, or by emailing privacy@jusaudio.co. Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or India), you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data-protection authority. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
jusAudio is not for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, email privacy@jusaudio.co and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest through our cloud providers, managed authentication, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will notify you as required by law.
10. Changes & contact
We may update this policy and will announce material changes by email or in-app notice. Questions or requests: privacy@jusaudio.co.
